Several years back I was sitting in the office of my dermatologist having a routine visit after he had found (as well as taken out) a melanoma from my body. With that said, how do we start "going wild"? It's not always easy for individuals to visit the forest, pluck wild health food and prepare teas, tinctures, salads, etc, but there is something that can be done. "Bitters" are available in supermarkets, and these may be the closest to "wild" foods that are available "domestically".
Some of the usual "bitter" greens that I personally include in my food regime are: dandelion greens, arugula, water cress, collard greens and endive. Spinach and kale may qualify as bitters nevertheless we're already getting those into our meals aren't we? :)
